MisDirections to Kaeng Krachan Country Club
N12° 54' 03.48" E99° 40' 55.25". Allow 2.5-3 hours from Bangkok.
Leave Bangkok over the Rama 9 Bridge and head towards Samut Songkram and Hua Hin on Route 35.
Pass Samut Songkhram, and about 90km from the Rama 9 Bridge follow the road left onto Route 4 heading south.
Around the 153 km marker (note, the markers do not relate to distance you have travelled) you will see a large red MAKRO sign on the left.
A few hundred metres past this sign there is a road bridge going over the highway.
You need to go over this bridge, so turn left immediately before the bridge. Take the first turn right and you will go over the bridge.
Go about 30km on this road (there is a klong that is parallel) and at the T-junction turn right onto route 3499 signposted to Kaeng Krachan.
Follow this road for about 21km and the Kaeng Krachan Country Club is on the left (at the brow of a hill).
There is now an alternative route that car gps units might suggest. As it is poorly marked to KK, so we have left the old directions that are easier to find.
