The rides

Hares

Patricia 'Carpet Burn' W, Sean 'Willy Watcher' S, and Annie 'Agony Aunt' M

What to expect?

Saturday: A true cross country ride, with a only a few short climbs and lots of flowy downhill. Not overly technical so good for newbies that want to ride some dirt! Trails are through sugar cane fields, teak and bamboo forests, therefore partially shaded. There is NO shortcut. Drink stop is halfway and we can transport back a few emergency cases, but plan on riding the entire trail. There is no place to refill other than the drink stop, so please bring enough water at the start! It will be hot! Total distance is 40 km with 313 m elevation. Sunday: Sunday, roll-off at 9:00 AM. An earlier than usual start to enjoy this fast ride! Another flowy trail through bamboo. Again, only short climbs, a bit more technical than Saturday but nothing difficult. There will be lots of options to make it easier for kids, but the distance will still be approx. the same. Drink stop at 13 km, and no other place to refill on the trail. Total distance is 28 km and 186 m elevation.
